Posada de las Minas offers guests a choice of six well-appointed guest rooms decorated in a variety of styles, from colorful Mexican folk art themes to elegant Victorian, complete with an antique brass bed and fireplace. For longer stays, the Posada offers two fully equipped apartments. When dining you may choose from a rustic cantina, two cozy dining rooms with wonderful views of the gardens and church, or patios filled with colorful flowers and cages of singing birds.
Meals offer a mix of Mexican and American favorites, and a full-service bar includes espresso and cappuccino, excellent accompaniments to the dessert menu. The bar also has an excellent selection of fine tequilas.
The active traveler can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding to the scenic mines surrounding Pozos. The local artisans cooperative sells beautiful handmade Mexican dolls in different regional dresses. Local galleries display the work of the growing artist community in Pozos. The more adventurous may choose to fill their day with a trip to a neighboring town to further acquaint themselves with the culture and history of Mexico.
