Once in a while we read guest comments that give us goosebumps and remind us why we choose to work with small, independent hotels in Mexico. This morning we received such comments about the team at Gran Casa Sayula and we think great works deserves an honorable mention.

I am more than pleased to reply to your query…Our stay was actually our little honeymoon.

We were delighted with every moment in your inn.  The ambiance was wonderful and very Mexican. Since we live in Mexico we love all of it and places and people such as yourself are what make us remain here.

Now…in addition to the Inn…the staff that has been built here are outstanding…Everyone…from the reception (Cecilia in particular) to the maids, the kitchen help…all understood why we love Mexico.  It is the people.

WE loved meeting and talking to Manuel, the chef.  My son is an ex. chef in Washington DC and he and Manuel are cut from the same cloth.  Not only is he creative…he is willing to offer us what we desired…which was not on the menu.  He was at our side to talk to us, to ask and to enjoy.  We did.

Everyone there should be proud to work in such a place.  We will be back and we have already told many of our friends here in Ajijic how great your hotel is.

Sayula is for us, a charming place..always has been.  You have made it better..
