This is a bronze sculpture created by Sergio Bustamante, part of the sculpture collection along Puerto Vallarta’s Malecon. This sculpture represents two children climbing a stairway while their mother, standing on the floor with open arms, begs them to come down. The characters’ faces shaped as an inverted triangle, along with their small bodies covered by wavy clothing, have turned this group of sculptures into one of the favorites of Vallarta’s visitors, who can climb the stairway to take a fun picture of this destination’s icon.
