The first stop should be a visit to the ex-Convent of El Carmen, located right on the main square. On weekends they have guided tours between noon and 4 pm. Its halls are full of pre-Hispanic items and tradition.
The Franciscan ex-Convent is five minutes away from the plaza and from its atrium you have excellent views of the town, that is why so many couples choose this spot to carry put their wedding.
Iconic in town is the “San Miguel Hill Lookout”, recommended for adventurous souls brave enough to climb it and enjoy the reward of the best views of the place to gaze at the flower-filled landscapes.
The truly adventurous ones will love this option: how about seeing Atlixco from the heights? It is possible if you dare to jump with a parachute of fly in a delta wing. Several companies in Atlixco offer professional services for an adrenaline-full yet safe experience.

THE LAST HOURS IN ATLIXCO
